Xuan Song, an assistant professor of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Iowa, is among 22 recipients of the 2022 Sandra L. Bouckley Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineers from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Song, whose work focuses on innovations in 3D printing, is also a faculty researcher at the Iowa Technology Institute, a research arm of the UI College of Engineering.
